Loughcrew House is available on a self catering basis and are complete with fully equipped kitchens, but we can help you arrange caterers or recommend places to eat if you wish. We can also arrange for amenities or gifts to be placed in the room.
Although Loughcrew hosts many of it’s own events throughout the year such as Easter egg hunts and Fairy Festivals, the venue can be hired to run your own. It is the perfect location to host large numbers of people and will be sure to wow!
Loughcrew has also been used as a filming location too and we are more than happy for you to get in touch if you have an idea in mind.

Unique Stylish Interiors and Plenty of Social Space
Rent the historic house, apartments or buildings situated within the stunning Loughcrew estate for a group getaway, business trip or retreat. Perfectly located just minutes from Oldcastle in County Meath, on the border with Cavan and Westmeath, and just a 1 hour drive to Dublin, you will find yourself surrounded by green space and calmness.
If you choose to stay here, it will be on an exclusive basis – your own private country estate for the entirety of your stay. We specialise in group accommodation and can sleep 17 in the main house. We also have apartments for 13 people and a limited amount of extra pop up beds can be provided for even more guests. Yurts in the grounds can also be organised.
All the rooms within Loughcrew House and apartments have a view of the estate grounds, rolling hills or the courtyard. We supply bed linen and towels. We also can provide fold out beds and travel cots for children and babies and all the accommodation has central heating and logs for the fires.
Furthermore, when renting Loughcrew House and apartments, you will have access to a fabulous cobbled courtyard, which also contains the banquet rooms – which would be ideal for a party, retreat, conference or talk of any kind. Equally if you would just like to rent a function room or too this can be arranged. Loughcrew is available for team building days or stays and the staff here will be able to point you in the right direction of activities you could do.
The banqueting rooms can accommodate up to 140 people for a sit-down meal; this number can be greatly increased if you wish to have a marquee elsewhere on the breath taking grounds.
